Another original cast member is set to reunite with Jessica on AHS!

Ryan Murphy revealed on his Twitter account that Denis O’Hare is set to make an appearance in American Horror Story: Coven.

The third season of the hit FX series returns in October. Cast members Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Gabourey Sidibe and Lily Rabe are set to return with Kathy Bates also joining the cast as a “rival” to Lange’s character.

O’Hare appeared in the first season of the show as the burned man, Larry Harvey.

More rumors are being circulated concerning the show, one of them involves Jessica’s characters name. But is it true? I guess we’ll have to wait to find out.

With American Horror Story’s third installment currently in production, a few details have been leaked about key characters.

American Horror Story producers are looking to cast three different characters, according to a report Friday by SpoilerTV.

The first character producers are looking to cast is Carter, a “small-town hunk” in his 20s. This would be one of the few male characters in the predominately female cast. Thus far, Evan Peters is the only male that has been confirmed to have a main role in the new season. Peters appeared in American Horror Story’s first two installments.
More intriguingly, fans may now know the names of two of the most important characters for season 3. Casting is looking for a 20-year-old version of Gwen, who is listed as the character Jessica Lange will be playing. This could be a temporary name or a decoy, but considering both Lange and fellow cast member Sarah Paulson have talked about getting the first few scripts already, it is assumed that Gwen will be Lange’s character’s name.

Additionally, producers are looking to cast a redhead 20-year-old version of Ruth, the character played by Frances Conroy. One SpoilerTV commenter suggested that producers go with Alexandra Breckenridge, who played the younger version of Conroy’s character in American Horror Story’s first season.

Conroy played a character named Ruth for five seasons on the HBO show Six Feet Under. It is unknown if this character naming is a coincidence or not, but as another commenter suggested, it could be a temporary name through the casting process.

Casting the younger versions of Gwen and Ruth could have something to do with the video posted in late June, which spoiled a plot point involving “youth serum.”

Producer-distributor LD Entertainment is planning a fall festival run and a September 27, 2013 release for Therese, directed and written by Charlie Stratton and starring Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Felton, Jessica Lange and Oscar Isaac. An Oscar campaign is also planned for the romantic thriller based on the Emile Zola novel Therese Raquin, which is set in the lower depths of 1860s Paris. Therese (Olsen) is a sexually repressed woman trapped into a loveless marriage to her sickly cousin Camille (Felton) by her domineering aunt, Madame Raquin (Lange). After she meets her husband’s alluring friend, Laurent (Isaac), she embarks on an illicit affair that leads to tragic consequences. Shirley Henderson, John Kavanagh, Mackenzie Crook and Matt Lucas co-star. LD’s Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon produced the pic with William Horberg. Exclusive Media is repping international rights.

Unfortunately last night Jessica did not win the Critics Choice Award that she was nominated for. She lost to Elizabeth Moss for Top of the Lake, congratulations to Elizabeth though! Jessica’s co-stars Zachary Quinto and Sarah Paulson did win though, which is great news!
